Kabuki’ Mono Koto – Related Items and Culture in Kabuki

Annual Kabuki Kaomise Performance is a very popular and beloved event for December in Kyoto, which has been held at Minami-za Theater for a long period of time.
In 2017, All-star Kabuki Performance changes the location to ROHM Theater Kyoto, Main Hall due to the renovation of Minami-za.

We are happy to announce to hold this special event, Kabuki’ Mono Koto Exhibition with full support from our co-hosts Minami-za (Shochiku Co., Ltd.)
Exhibition continues until Monday December 18.

Exhibition consists of mainly costumes as well as props. Also the signature item, “Maneki” a large wooden board with a name of actor, will be displayed.
Do not miss this unique opportunity to experience Kabuki culture from Traditional Crafts’ point of view.
