November 1 (Sat) “Classics Day” – Free Admission Day!

November 1 has been designated as “Classics Day” to encourage appreciation of Japan’s classical literature and to pass it down as a source of national pride. This date marks the first known record of “The Tale of Genji,” Japan’s world-renowned literary masterpiece, which dates back to the year 1008 (Kankō 5).
To celebrate this day and invite more people to experience Japan’s classical heritage, the museum will offer free admission on November 1 (Sat). Don’t miss this opportunity to visit!
